HOUSING AUTHORITY OF HENRY COUNTY
 

The Housing Authority of Henry County administers 2 low income housing programs which are county-wide. Public housing consists of seven sites providing housing to families and elderly.  Fairview Homes, Knox Homes and Lakeland Terrace, are all located in Kewanee and contain 230 units.  There are also 4 hi-rise buildings with an additional 230 units for elderly and disabled.  Hollis House and Washington Apartments are located in Kewanee, Lincoln House in Galva, and Maple City Apartments is in Geneseo.  All public housing residents are provided with a variety of services including security, transportation and on-site counseling. In addition to public housing, the Section 8 program provides opportunities for 175 families to live in rental housing in the community.  Call 309-852-2801 for more information.

Interact with Housing Authority Staff 

Provide safety training and awareness programs 

Participate in resident orientation program 

Responsible for enforcing HAHC "One Strike and You're Out" program 

Administer and enforce guest pass policy and resident ID program
