Proxy Server Setup

In a proxy cache, users request the same pages visited by other users from the same network would be delivered  from a local server instead of directly from the source. The  local server gets the new page, saves it on disk and forwards it to the users. Subsequent requests from other users for the same page would get the saved copy, which is much faster and does not consume Internet bandwidth.

It is strongly recommended that CIN users set the browser to use proxy server to increase the speed.
